Tapatío Salsa Picante Hot Sauce

Tapatío was started in 1971 by Jose-Luis Saavedra Sr. using a recipe created by his wife, and moved to Vernon, California in 1985. The name describes someone from Guadalajara, Jalisco, and the label shows a charro. It is sold in bottles from 5 oz up to a gallon, plus quarter-ounce packets originally developed for the US military.
