Salsa Tamazula S.A. de C.V.
Valentina is made by Guadalajara-based Salsa Tamazula from puya chiles from the state of Jalisco, a pepper similar to the guajillo. It is described as thicker than Tabasco and less vinegary, with more chile flavor, and comes in hot and extra-hot varieties. The sauce is named for Valentina Ramírez Avitia, a Mexican revolutionary.
